Post 15: Andrew's Turn to Catch Up!

Well, where to start?  Julie planned a special picnic for us in the early spring.  I think it was after my first day of work.  Once I got showered up she had everything ready and off we went to Little Caesar's to get the hot n'ready pepperoni pizzas.  With our food in tow we went to Hawrelak Park and found a nice place on the grass to enjoy our little pizza picnic.  It was really fun!  I also had my 10 year high school reunion in May.  It was fun to go out to Tofield and see all those people we grew up with.  Lots of surprises and a good time.  I was sure glad that my core group of high school friends are still friends and that we can still have a good time together.  May had Mother's Day too.  Since my Mum is in Africa, all I managed to do for her was to send her a special email.  Dinner at the Burtenshaw's was extra special though, with the men doing some extra work to get it done.  There was BBQ chicken and pineapple, with coconut rice, Shirley's famous home made buns, and  a delicious strawberry-mango salad.  It was extremely satisfying!  Mother's Day is also when the early baby bump picture was taken.  Isn't she beautiful!  Of course, I'm back at Classic Landscapes working ALL day EVERY day, like a sucker, but sometimes, when Julie has the day off she'll come visit me for lunch, which always makes my day better, and usually increases the quality of what I'm eating too.  Julie went down to Cardston on the long weekend with her parents to start getting her grandparents house ready to sell.  There weren't down long, but they got the chance to go to Julie's favourite place on earth...Waterton!  They had a good time.

High School Reunion:  the group's still together.
Delicious Mother's Day Dinner.

I'm still working in my baby bump, but I'm getting there.
Cute, right?

Post 14 - A Return to Normal Life

So in comparison with the past {set} of posts, our life has been fairly calm and normal!  I almost didn't know what to do with myself for a while there!  Andrew has finished his Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences, and has started up with his summer job for what is {hopefully} the last time!  In his spare time he cleaned the house, made me delicious breakfasts and looked into different medical school requirements/worked on applications for Australia and the Caribbean.  Our pregnancy became "official" (or I guess I should say public knowledge!  It has been official for a while now!), we had a few nice days of weather before it started snowing again and managed to fit a weiner roast in!  There was still snow on the ground and towards the end it started raining a little bit, but it was nice for the most part of it!  I spent a lot of my recent free time working on a wedding guest book for my friends brother (or i guess we could call him my sisters friend, or my friend...  whatever!)  I love making stuff with a purpose!  Usually I just make crafty things and they sit around.... unless its jewellery and then my sisters take it and use it!  And that is really all that has been happening around the Cahoon household these days - normal things!
